The ad-hoc Sub-Committee (of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Demography), set up to participate in the Seminar on “Repatriation and integration of the Tatars of Crimea”, organised in co-operation with the Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly, in Yalta on 5-6 October 2001:

– elected Mr Cilevičs (Latvia, SOC) as chairperson;

– took part in the Seminar on “Repatriation and integration of the Tatars of Crimea” and held an exchange of views on the subject;

– visited the Tatar settlement of Bakhchiseray.
