European Conference of Presidents of Parliament

Limassol, 10-12 June 2010

This Conference of Presidents of Parliament was held in Limassol (Cyprus) from 10 to 12 June 2010.

The Conference is composed of Speakers and Presidents of the Parliaments of the Member States of the Council of Europe; parliaments enjoying observer status with PACE and international parliamentary assemblies.

The themes of the Conference were:

• Rights and Responsibilities of the Opposition in a Parliament;
• National Parliaments and International Human Rights law: implementation of the principle of non-discrimination.
