Comments or explanatory statement in connection with this declaration.

K1 I am a retired Methodist minister and very new to the world of active politics. It has been a lifelong principle that I must live on money earned through the work I am paid to do. I have never sought, charged, or received gifts that go beyond these limits. If I find myself "compromised" or in danger of being compromised in any way, I will immediately seek advice or make a declaration as may best suit the purpose.
