Request for the opening of a monitoring procedure in respect of Hungary

In the draft resolution, paragraph 8, replace the last sentence with the following sentence:

"The attempt of the ruling coalition in Hungary to use its unique two-thirds majority to push through arbitrary reforms has been in contravention of these democratic principles."
