In the draft resolution, paragraph 22, delete the first four sentences, and the first three words of the fifth sentence.

Explanatory note

There is a clear distinction between the activity of journalism and espionage. The term "prosecution of investigative journalists" used by the rapporteurs is misleading. The prosecutions carried by the Turkish courts are due to the espionage and leaking of information.
