In the draft resolution, paragraph 5, replace the words:

"These new investor powers are unnecessary as investors are already protected by established public and contract law in the European Union, Canada and the United States. If it is not removed from CETA and TTIP, the ICS will give powers in the Investment Chapter of these agreements to trump other public interest considerations, including the protection of the environment and public health. The ICS provisions should therefore be removed from CETA and TTIP."

with the following words:

"The European Union must commit to ensuring that this arbitration court shall not operate outside the sphere of public law."
