The functioning of democratic institutions in Turkey

In the draft resolution, paragraph 8, replace the last two sentences with the following sentences:

"The Assembly notes with satisfaction the steady normalization of the daily life of civilians and the functioning of democratic institutions in the region since June 2016. In this context, the Assembly also welcomes the announced investment and development program by the Turkish Government and supports the efforts to eliminate the safety problems associated with PKK terrorist activity in the region."
