In the draft resolution, paragraph 3, replace the words:
"While concerns by the Ukrainian authorities about Russia’s propaganda and information war are legitimate and understandable, banning journalist from entering Ukraine and ultimately limiting media freedom is a disproportionate response to this threat and should only be applied as a measure of last resort."
with the following words:
"Given the propaganda and information war between Ukraine and Russia, banning journalists from entering Ukraine and ultimately limiting media freedom is a disproportionate response and should only be applied as a measure of last resort. The Assembly is concerned about the publication of names and addresses of thousands of journalists accredited in the Donbass region who were therefore unjustly accused of collaboration with the rebels, jeopardizing their personal integrity."
