In the draft resolution, after paragraph 2, insert the following paragraph:
"The Assembly is deeply concerned by the regular pressure imposed on political opposition in Ukraine. It recalls its Resolution 2132 (2016) in which it calls on the Ukrainian authorities, inter alia, "to follow international democratic standards" and urges the Ukrainian authorities to ensure the existence of an independent political opposition."
